The Right Glass for the Right Beer – It Matters!

Just like fine dining, drinking beer is enhanced by excellent presentation, superior service and proper supplies. Choosing the right beer glassware enhances both taste and aroma, and this can make a big difference in the drinking experience.
Though typically made for champagne, flute style glasses help maintain carbonation and enhance lighter, fruity flavors such as in Belgian Lambic beers. Goblet glasses emphasize the big flavors and aromatic head of heavy ales or bock beers. While the favored beer mug is easy to grip, holds a lot of volume, and works well for a wide variety of brews.
Check out the Education Center if you would like to learn more about beer glasses and how to pour the perfect draft beer! Thanks to Food Service Warehouse for filming this informative video at The Cheeky Monk, located at 534 E. Colfax Avenue in Denver.
