The Fox Theater, which opened on October 30, 1946, can be seen under construction in the background. The man in the photo is Clarence Harold Young, owner of the historic Young Building at East Colfax and Dayton and the Great, Great Uncle of the person who shared this photo. CH Young also owned the Young Motor Company at 32nd and Irving, ran for Mayor of Aurora and dated Helen Bonfils.
