The Fox Theater, which opened on October 30, 1946, can be seen under construction in the background. The man in the photo is Clarence Harold Young, owner of the historic Young Building at East Colfax and Dayton and the Great, Great Uncle of the person who shared this photo. CH Young also owned the Young Motor Company at 32nd and Irving, ran for Mayor of Aurora and dated Helen Bonfils.

In 1969 Rocky Mountain Typewriter moved to 1519 Geneva Street and in 1962 the address was listed at 1490 Dayton Street. In the mid 1960s the address was listed at 10231 East Colfax. It's unclear which address this photo is from.
