Colfax & 15th - The Movie

Denver Films Isolation Man and Colfax & 15th Showcased at Denver Comic Con as a Double Feature

Exclusive Screenings Held At The Colorado Convention Center, Saturday June 16th at 6pm & 8pm.

Mother Mind Studios’ directors Daniel Crosier and Dane Bernhardt will screen a rough-cut of the hilarious new, local feature film Isolation Man at 8pm on June 16th. The film will be screening as a double feature with the movie Colfax & 15th screening at 6pm, for attendees during Denver Comic Con’s Filmapalooza Independent Film Series at the Colorado Convention Center.

Isolation Man is a mockumentary centered on a superhero, the Exquisite Vanishteer, who must live with the tragic realization that he has made the human population of the western hemisphere disappear. The remaining eastern journalistic community hunts the superhuman, documenting him, and seeking out his story before United Nation forces move in to neutralize him.

The film is based on an original comic book character created by Crosier, a nationally published comic book artist and writer who was recently featured on the Travel Channel’s hit series Making Monsters.

Crosier tackles the leading role as the Vanishteer. The film also showcases the talents of several local actors including actor/musician Little Fyodor, Brian Natale, and Dick Black. A Q&A session with Crosier & Bernhardt will follow the screening.

“Our team set out to create a fun and absurdist project on a minimal budget,” Crosier states. “With our creative vision, sweat equity, and cashing in major favors, we put together a film that’s laugh-out-loud funny.”
Isolation Man is for mature audiences only due to language and brief nudity.

Prior to the Isolation Man screening at 6pm, audiences will enjoy the dynamic crime drama Colfax & 15th directed by Stephen Santa Cruz. Cinematographer & co-writer, Joel Stangle teamed with Santa Cruz to develop the Denver-based project. The local cast consists of Joseph Trujillo, Ariana Sanchez, and Ketridge Copeland. The film explores Denver’s seedy bail bonds industry that operates off of the radar. Q&A from Santa Cruz will follow the screening.
