The York Theater (2221 East Colfax Avenue) opened in September 1913. It
was a movie theater up through 1919. The original building is still in
existence and is now a Seiko Watch Repair store.
Sign read: "Matinee Every Day" "York" "Vitagraph Presents the Broadway Star Feature - A Million Bid - Thursday" "4 Reels Today." A Million Bid is sadly a lost silent film according to Wiki. I find no interior shots and today it looks like a total renovation leaving nothing inside behind.
