Part music industry trade show, part Colorado music scene, the Upper Colfax ROOT 40 MusicFest Expo is positioned to be among the best regional events for the music industry.

 

Hosted at The Fillmore Auditorium, the Expo will be the hub for music industry professionals as well as up to 75 vendors and musicians looking to review products and services.  Both regional and locally owned music-related businesses will showcase their products.

There will be speakers, performances and Dryer Plug Studios will be providing a FREE on the spot Mixing and Mastering of one song in the Mammoth Lounge at The Fillmore Auditorium.  You won’t want to miss out on this event!

The Expo takes places Sunday April 27 from 11 am to 4 pm at the Fillmore Auditorium located at 1510 Clarkson St.  Admission to the Root 40 EXPO for guests is free!  Upon arriving at The Fillmore Auditorium, guests will be greeted by live music outdoors as well as on the main stage which will set the tone for an afternoon of industry interaction and introductions. 

  

Staff members from Live Nation will be available from 1 pm to 2pm for an informal meet and greet / answer your questions.  Come say hi in the Fillmore art gallery.

Live performances by Sean Waldron, MIX, Ancient Elk, Treehouse Sanctum, The Other Black and Qbala

There will also be a presentation on the unique and rich musical history of Colfax – presented by Jonny Barber.

Refreshments will be available for sale as well as FREE Mimosas and Voodoo Doughnuts (while supplies last).  Come early!

Food Drive:  Please bring food to the EXPO – as well as to any of the Root 40 events. During the week of Root 40, there will be food drive boxes in venues and businesses all along Upper Colfax. The top 5 foods that are needed: cereal, pasta, rice, canned fruit & canned meat.

In conjunction with 9Cares Colorado Shares, Root 40 MusicFest will collect food for DenUM (Denver Urban Ministries) – who provide food, free legal counsel and employment services to those in need.
