New Revitalization Sprouts Along Colfax Ave.

Construction has started on the new Sprouts Market along East Colfax Avenue between Monroe & Garfield Streets.Watch this area for exciting revitalization following the addition of this new $8 million store designed by Klipp Architecture and developed by Evergreen Development with Rosen Properties.

Waner Construction is overseeing the "shell construction" of the 26,000 sq ft store. The store is slated to open after May 2013.

The old site was once a John Elway Ford Dealership, which has sat vacant since 2005. The new Sprouts Market will be a welcomed addition to the East Colfax corridor, which does not currently have a large grocery store within walking distance. Within a five block walk of the new store, business has already been buzzing at establishments such as: The Bluebird Theater, Stella Trattoria, Atomic Cowboy/Fat Sully's Pizza Pie/Denver Biscuit Co, Babooshka, Hooked on Colfax, Mezcal, Tommy's Thai, Steve's Snappin Dogs, Goosetown Tavern, Ism Gallery, Spirit Ways and Collins Bicycles.
