The Bronco Buster

 

Here is a 1920s postcard showing the Colorado Capitol Building, Civic Center Park and the "Cowboy" sculpture. The artist who created this and several other bronze sculptures in Denver was A. Phimster Proctor. He spent a great deal of his childhood growing up in Grand Lake, CO in the late 1800s. (courtesy Mark Afman)
