It may start a day late, but that’s no reason to overlook the cultural experience you can find at the Cinco de Mayo Festival.
There
will be two stages with musical and dance performances, including a
free Zumba class Saturday morning at 10 a.m. There will also be a parade
from 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday, starting at Colfax Avenue and Welton
Street and finishing at Lincoln Street and 13th Avenue.
And there will be contests, such as the taco-eating contest, the quinceanera fashion show and Chihuahua races.
The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. both days. Admission is free.
