All the trees are still babies! Our best guess on the year of this photo comes from Ward Love: "I'm going with 1963 - plus or minus a year. I can recall when the "old" trees were all dying and removed. Then for a few years, hardly any trees - before a "reforestation" project began. There have been several periods over the last century when the Capitol, Civic Center Park and City and County Building were bereft of trees, as I recall. (I'm 81YO)"
