Video: 4 Seasons Nightclub Fire in 1986

The 4 Seasons Nightclub was a popular country western bar in Denver until it burned down in the April of 1986. Formerly located at the intersection of East Colfax Avenue and Sable Boulevard, The 4 Seasons hosted many well known country acts, including Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson.

  1. My Dad, Don Wheeler, played in the house band, The Dakota Territory, here in the early 70's. The band members were; Vaughn Meyers-Keyboards, David "Bam-Bam" Rodriguez-Drums, Chris Cranston-Bass, Larry Johnson-Lead Guitar, and of course Don Wheeler-Rhythm Guitar and lead vocals! I saw SO many big name C&W stars here....My Mom Glenda Wheeler ran the bar for Walt!

    1. Ed - would you or any of your family happen to have any photos of the bands playing, the nightclub, etc. I would love to have a copy and would be happy to reimburse you copying and your time.

  2. The very best entertainment venue in all of Colorado. Spent most every Friday and Saturday night on that dance floor. Really left a hole in our lives when it went down. Lots of special memories made there.

  5. My dad and a close friend of his some others help put down a new dance floor in the back. I remember some old country western singers come in there to play. I was too young to go on there and see them but when I got older I went down south from the locals play, it was a good place to go to good atmosphere
