Colfax History: Copper Kitchen

    At the end of dinner kids would get a small paper bag with a toy inside.They were flat white bags maybe 5x5 inches with the top turned over and stapled. There were many bags in a basket that the child could choose from. There would be a small plastic toy like a car or something inside. This is a childhood memory.

    Wow, I was looking for pictures of 1970's Colfax, came across this and remembered, my grandmother worked here, we use to visit her and I remember the toy bags. :)

      Hello my grandmother used to work there also. Her name was Dorothy. They could have worked together.
