Christmas on Colfax

Season's greetings. Lakewood police were called to Burger King, 6435 W. Colfax Ave., after a man who had written "Ho Ho Ho" on a restroom stall wall in his own excrement and then had thrown up on the floor was asked to leave by the manager. The man was cited.

Drumroll, please. Lakewood police were contacted by the Regional Transportation District for an assault involving a security officer. Security was sent to a bus stop at West Colfax Avenue and Garrison Street after a man boarded a bus and then refused to pay the fare or exit. The man was escorted off the bus, at which point he swung his bag, full of drumsticks, and hit the RTD officer in the shoulder. He was arrested.
