DISH HOSTS PRE-DEBATE RUMBLE BETWEEN
Fillmore Auditorium
Tuesday, October 2
On
the eve of the first presidential debate, political heavyweights Glenn
Beck and Eliot Spitzer will go head-to-head in a battle of ideas at the
Fillmore Auditorium in a boxing-themed event hosted by DISH.
The
two contenders will continue “The War of the Words,” an exchange that
began in New York on September 13 to coincide with the launch of DISH’s
enhanced political programming options, including Beck’s new network
TheBlaze, and Spitzer’s home network, Current TV.
Surrounded
by a 500-member live, local audience and watched by Facebook and DISH
viewers across the nation, Beck and Spitzer will share their diverging
thoughts on the hot-button issues facing the nation. After brief opening
statements, the two will answer pressing questions posed by moderator
(and longtime Denver news anchor) Ed Sardella.
The event is free and open to the public, though an admission ticket is required. More information can be obtained at www.dish.com/allangles.
