What's Peyton Manning's Deal with Omaha??

Peyton Manning yelled "OMAHA" before 44 of his team's 70 plays last week against San Diego, and he was back at it in Sunday's AFC championship game.

Now that the Denver Broncos are on their way to the Super Bowl, many different people from the NFL world have offered explanations that give us a rough idea of what Manning means when he says "Omaha". While "Omaha" typically means that the snap is about to happen, the call probably also has other uses for Manning and the Broncos, and there is no reason why he should give that information away. No one knows exactly what it means. When asked about it at his press conference, Manning offered an  explanation without actually answering the question:

"I've had a lot of people ask what 'Omaha' means. Omaha is a run play but it could be a pass play, or a play-action pass depending on a couple things — the wind, which way we're going, quarter, and the jerseys that we're wearing. It varies, really play to play. So there's your answer to that one."

Whatever you say, Peyton, but I have my own explanation...I think he just loves Bronco Burgers from Omaha!! They have been in business for 50 years and are still arguably the best burger you will ever have! Bronco's is a tradition in Omaha, and visitors from all around the country make it a must to come in and eat their delicious, famous burgers and French fries still made from whole potatoes every day!
