Experience the sights, scents and tastes of autumn, October 19-20. Merchants and community groups are hosting numerous fall activities with an urban twist along East Colfax Avenue in Denver, including:

Marczyk’s Neighborhood Fair
11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, October 19, Colfax & Fairfax
Celebrating local fall food and home cooks! Get to know some of their favorite local food producers and try some of the market-made items for the season, plus some exclusive offerings you can only get at the fair like cider donuts and delectable porchetta sandwiches, and even carved pumpkins!

City Floral’s Fall Festival
Saturday (9 a.m. to 6 p.m.) and Sunday (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.), October 19-20, Kearney & Colfax
Browse the multitude of plants perfect for fall and patio gardens; pick out a pumpkin, make a scarecrow, and start your own backyard chicken coop. Gardening classes, barnyard petting zooand food vendors.

Barkly Manor’s Dog Wash & Neighborhood Vendors
10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday October 19, Colfax & Elm
Celebrating five years on Colfax serving furry neighbors in Park Hill and Mayfair. This full-service dog daycare and boarding facility will host exhibitors such as Lori Owicz, an upcycling artist, the Women’s Bean Project, Denver Public Library, Denver Urban Gardens, SafeSplash and others in its parking lot. Does your pet need a perk? Tour the facility and enjoy free self-service dog washes Saturday only!

Wine-Making & Artists at The Cork House
3 to 6 p.m., Saturday, October 19, Colfax & Eudora
Ever thought about making your own wine? Watch The Cork House’s experts as they host wine making demonstrations at this neighborhood steakhouse with an extension selection of wine and cheese. The bar will be open, so stay to enjoy a glass of wine (prices vary) while shopping for handmade gifts by local artists on the beautiful patio.

More Happening Down the Block: Join other Colfax merchants between Barkley Manor (Elm Street) and The Cork House (Eudora Street) for special promotions and events on Saturday, including:

The Power of Om (Colfax & Elm Street): Come by and check out The Power of OM, the new community yoga and meditation sanctuary on East Colfax. Bring your kiddos for a free kids’ yoga class from 11:30 am to Noon on Saturday, October 19. Following, everyone is welcome from Noon to 3 p.m. for an open house — snacks, and kombucha from Happy Leaf Kombucha, music and yoga giveaways!  A free first class will be given to all adult attendees for future use!

Pangaea Salon (near Colfax & Elm Street): Everyone is welcome from Noon to 3 p.m. at Pangaea Salon to browse the salon’s artwork, receive free product sample, and free kids’ haircuts. Adults will receive 25% of their first service. Pangaea Salon is dedicated to being environmentally friendly and reaching out to all ethnicities.
