Government Employee Art Exhibition

On My Own Time (OMOT) an innovative Government Employee Art Exhibition program is now open to the public at the Colorado State Capitol, in the Lt. Governor's Office and the Basement Rotunda. The exhibition will continue through May 13, 2013. Colorado Creative Industries joined with Arts and Venues Denver and General Services Administrative Rocky Mountain Region to display the artwork of 52 City and County of Denver, State of Colorado and Colorado-based federal government employees. The OMOT program identifies, encourages and acknowledges the creative talents of government employees. OMOT allows the participating government agencies to show that creativity is a vital part of their workforce, their agency's success and is valued by the citizens of Colorado. The exhibit was coordinated by the Colorado Business Committee for the Arts.
