Colfax A

 Between Colfax and Fourteenth Avenues between Cook and Madison Streets is the Snell Addition Historic District. This tiny district consists of Colfax A and Colfax B. The area is named for Frank Snell who built 25 houses here between 1905 and 1911. Snell fit more houses into the block by eliminating the back yards. The developer himself lived at 3421 Colfax A.
