Free Dance Classes at Denver Turnverein

If you long to do the waltz, tango or two-step (just picture yourself on Dancing with the Stars), check out the Denver Turnverein. This historic dance hall has hosted dancers and dance clubs for 150 years. To celebrate its anniversary, the Turnverein is holding FREE dance classes on Sundays this month, April 12, 19 & 26. Six classes will be offered each day (you can choose between two each hour) and they are FREE to anyone. Here’s the schedule: 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Waltz or Argentine Tango. 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Salsa or Country Two-Step. 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Lindy Hop or West Coast Swing.
