Directed by Terry Dodd
This tour-de-force one-man show breathes new life into the
back-story of the Kennedy family. RFK creates a very human portrait of a
politician and revisits some of the darker moments in U.S. History. Author Jack
Holmes expands the well-known facts of a politician's life into a stirring
metaphor for the struggle to believe in our government and our leaders.

By late summer, 1964, Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy was a deeply wounded man. Still in shock and consumed with grief and guilt over the assassination of his older brother, President John F. Kennedy, on November 22nd, 1963 in Dallas, Texas, he was at a crossroads. The 1964 presidential election was approaching and President Lyndon Johnson, who had been dangling the possibility of a vice-presidential role to RFK, finally called Kennedy over to the White House to tell him his decision. The result of that meeting and the subsequent direction for the next, and last, four years of Robert Kennedy's life are the focus of this play.
Jack Holmes is an actor, playwright, screenwriter, composer and pianist. He is the author of the solo play "RFK" in which he portrayed the late Robert F. Kennedy. His New York Off-Broadway performance earned him a nomination by The Outer Critics Circle for Outstanding Solo Performance, as well as a nomination by the Drama League for Distinguished Performance. He was also nominated for Best Solo Performance In a Large Theater by the Independent Reviewers of New England for his performance in Boston.

Mod Livin' Keeps On Givin'
MOD LIVIN’ AND GUS* MODERN ANNOUNCE JANUARY “KEEP ON GIVING!” PROMOTION TO SUPPORT LOCAL FOOD BANKS
DENVER - Mod Livin' Modern Furniture and Gus* Design Group Inc., the Toronto-based home furnishings manufacturer, today announced the launch of its fifth annual “Keep On Giving!” event, a promotion which offers consumers a discount on modern furniture when they donate to local food banks.
Throughout
the month of January, customers that bring 3 non-perishable food items
into Mod Livin’ will receive 15% off the MSRP on Gus* Modern Essentials
upholstery, dining, storage, lighting, and accessories. Collected food
will be distributed by Mod Livin’ to local Denver food banks.
“The Keep On Giving Event is designed to encourage all of us to think about those in need in our communities – not just during the holiday season, but throughout the year. Inevitably, donations are collected from customers, friends and nearby businesses that have zero to do with a furniture purchase. This event isn’t just an opportunity to score the couch you’ve been staring at all year, it brings our wonderful community together,” said Amanda Lezan, Mod Livin’ store manager.
The Gus* Modern furniture collection is characterized by clean-lined upholstery and functional dining, lighting, and accents, all inspired by mid-century classics. The promotion will apply to all pieces in the Essentials line, which consists of in-stock furniture in a variety of finish options. All of the upholstery frames in the Gus* Modern line, including the great condo-sized LOFT Series, are produced with FSC-certified wood, in support of responsible forest management.
The promotion runs throughout the month of January at Mod Livin’, 5327 East Colfax Ave, Denver, CO. For more information please visit http://www.modlivin.com
