Hostage taken at Radio Shack on Colfax!

You may or may not be aware of a serious situation unfolding at the Radio Shack on Colfax and Glencoe St.. Police responded to a burglary call there late this morning and were fired upon when they arrived. They’ve got a gunman surrounded, who has one or more hostages. He has started shooting. Area schools are on lock down. We’ve been in touch with area businesses; so far nobody has been harmed. Police have swarmed the area and stopped traffic. The area has been roped off, so avoid driving in the area until the conflict is resolved.
